**Somewhat of a spoiler for this book and many others**
I've read this story hundreds of times. H cheats on h, H tries to use sex to get h to forgive him, H gets mad and walks because she won't forgive him in three days, h chases H and of course, h asks for forgiveness in the end. Let's not forget the h's family that defend the cheater and not the blood relative.
I was a little disappointed because I thought that the story had some potential when I started reading it. I was hoping that the author would have found a way for the H to win the h back without having to resort to the tired old "sexual healing." The story would have benefited from having the reader actually see the H do something more than grind up against the h to show his remorse. Rather, the H taunts the h with his infidelity instead of immediately finding a way to make amends to her (or even acting contrite towards her) while the h throws tantrums like a two year old yelling at him how she hates him while taking full advantage of his physical advances (insert eye roll here). Sexual chemistry between characters is necessary but when that is all that is shown the story simply becomes mundane. Like I said, read it a hundred times before.
Enjoyed this second book in the series. Ms. Sinclair definitely keeps you interested in this family saga. Ready to start the next book!
Well first I read the other reviews and disagree with negative one. I feel Ms. Sinclair spins a fresh outlook on a story that starts with young love, misunderstanding, and forgiveness. The book moves fast and is full of steamy sex. The plot keeps you interested and is overall a treat to read.
